Alameda Corridor authority seeks construction management consultant for two grade separations
advertisement
The Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority (ACE) has issued a request for proposals seeking qualified consultants to provide construction management services for the Fairway Drive and Puente Avenue grade separations. Proposals are due Jan. 15, 2013.
Estimated to cost $106.1 million, the Fairway Drive grade separation calls for lowering the roadway under two existing Union Pacific Railroad and Metrolink tracks in the city of Industry and unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, Calif. A four-lane roadway underpass, retaining walls, a new rail bridge with two tracks and, potentially, one future freight-rail track would be constructed.
Estimated to cost $87.5 million, the Puente Avenue grade separation would involve constructing a roadway underpass with bridges for Valley Boulevard and UP tracks, and building a loop connector road in Industry, Calif.
