Caltrain to improve safety on four bridges

Caltrain recently began upgrading four San Jose, Calif., rail bridges to meet safety standards.
Crews will reinforce existing bridge supports with shotcrete, or concrete that is “shot” under pressure to form a structure.
Each bridge will take about three weeks to complete; the entire project is scheduled to be complete in mid-April.
