GO Transit to build flyover on Bradford Line

advertisement

Toronto’s GO Transit plans to begin building a bridge over Canadian National Railway Co.’s tracks on the Bradford Line between the York University and Rutherford stations.

The commuter-rail line intersects CN’s east-west freight tracks, causing bottlenecks and preventing GO Transit from expanding service, according to the transit agency. Scheduled to be complete by 2007’s end, the flyover will enable GO Transit to reduce traffic congestion.
