As previously announced, President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Salvatore Fazzolari will succeed Hathaway as CEO. Fazzolari also is expected to be elected chairman in April 2008.

In addition, Harsco named Geoffrey Butler president of the corporation and CEO of the Access Services and Mill Services business groups. He has served as senior vice president of operations for the two groups since 2000, and previously was president of the MultiServ division.

Harsco also appointed Richard Neuffer SVP and group president for the Minerals and Rail Technologies Group; Mark Kimmel SVP, general counsel and secretary; and Stephen Schnoor, SVP and chief financial officer.

The Minerals and Rail Technologies Group include Harsco Track Technologies, which provides railway engineering equipment and services.
