Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and IntegriCo Composites Chief Executive Officer Scott Mack yesterday announced the company will establish a $20 million manufacturing facility near Springhill to produce transportation infrastructure components from plastic waste materials, including railroad ties, crossings and industrial mats.IntegriCo also plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Temple, Texas, to Webster Parish, La."Investments like this one … confirm that our state can lead the South and the nation in creating strong manufacturing jobs right here at home, and IntegriCo joins a long list of manufacturers that echo that sentiment," said Jindal in a press release.IntegriCo selected Louisiana after a multi-state search for a manufacturing site. Renovations and facility upgrades in Springhill are slated to begin in June and be completed in late 2014.With its Texas facility at capacity, the effort is critical to serving the company's growing client base, which includes multiple Class I railroads, the U.S. military and myriad other customers, said Mack.
