Metrolinx crews this month completed renovations of a rail bridge over Rodgers Road in northwest Toronto.
After 13 months of work, crews completed repair of the steel and concrete structures of the bridge to support the future installation of a second track, Metrolink officials announced last week on the agency blog.
The second track, which would allow more GO Transit service on the Barrie GO corridor, is part of a larger GO expansion project to modernize infrastructure from Hamilton to Barrie to Oshawa, Ontario, agency officials said.
