Ohio economic development agency provides funds for industrial park spur

advertisement
Last week, the Ohio Economic Development Administration awarded $2.9 million for the construction of a three-mile rail spur at The Point industrial park in South Point, Ohio.
A state loan is covering the remainder of the project’s $5.6 million cost. Construction is slated to begin in fall and take eight months to complete.
The spur is the second phase of an intermodal project designed to accommodate the transportation of freight from river to rail to highway.
