Rail News: Maintenance Of Way
RailWorks Corp. recently appointed Scott Brace executive vice president of track construction subsidiary RailWorks Track Systems Inc. and Brian Bennett, assistant VP and regional manager for the subsidiary’s newly established southeast region.
With more than 30 years’ experience in managing track construction and maintenance operations, Brace will be responsible for expanding RailWorks’ large track project opportunities, managing equipment utilization and improving business processes. He previously served as chairman of the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association.
Bennett — who has more than 15 years’ experience in track construction — will be responsible for expanding business in the Southeast market. He previously managed various RailWorks projects, including an expansion of CSX Transportation’s track capacity on the Chicago-to-Florida corridor.
RailWorks provides track and transit system construction services throughout North America.
