Transdev's rail division is redecking two rail bridges as part of the Pacific Harbor Line's track rehabilitation project at the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles.

Work is being performed on the 500-foot single track Dominguez Bridge and the 800-foot double track Badger Bridge, Transdev officials said in a press release.

Redecking involves replacing the 9-by-9-by-12-foot timber ties and 20-foot catwalk ties. Transdev teams work in 12-hour windows over a three-to-four week period per bridge to avoid disruptions to service, they said.

The Pacific Harbor Line connects to BNSF Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad, nine intermodal terminals and numerous carload customers.
