C.H. Robinson names Norfolk Southern 'railroad of the year'

Intermodal solutions provider C.H. Robinson has honored Norfolk Southern Railway with the firm's "Railroad of the Year" award for 2022.

Each year, C.H. Robinson distributes the award to a railroad based on ease of doing business, partnership approach and ability to grow together.

NS was recognized for its teamwork, integrity, transparency and a vision for growth as indicators of the railroad’s designation and future success, C.H. Robinson officials said in a press release.

"Norfolk Southern has demonstrated a strategic vision to promote intermodal growth while fostering innovative approaches to today’s supply-chain challenges," said Tim Humbert, C.H. Robinson's vice president of intermodal.

"Their entire team acted with a high degree of transparency and integrity while assisting us in servicing the asks of our customers," Humbert added.
