Beginning Oct. 20, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority expanded its evening schedule an hour to better serve late-night workers and tourists.

Blue, Red and Green lines’ last departure times now range from 11:21 p.m. at the Long Beach Transit Mall to 1:34 a.m. from Norwalk to Marine/Redondo station.

Metro Rail’s 60-mile system provides access to Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Hollywood Wax Museum, the Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Tourists and residents also can take Metro Rail trains to the Staples Center, Los Angeles Convention Center, Union Station, the Queen Mary, Children’s Hospital and Los Angeles International Airport, as well as numerous special events, hotels and restaurants.
