advertisement
On April 6, MTA Metro-North Railroad will introduce its new spring timetable, which will include 67 more trains each week to help the agency increase service frequency, add capacity and, in some cases, shorten travel times.
Under the new timetable, Metro-North will operate 4,439 trains a week, a 35 percent increase since the agency was created in 1983.
Metro-North will add 41 trains each week, including 21 weekend trains, on the Hudson Line; 16 trains, including three weekday trains and one Saturday train, on the Harlem Line; and a new early morning peak train on the New Haven Line.
