GO Transit changes train schedules to meet growing demand
advertisement
Beginning April 3, GO Transit plans to make several system-wide changes to bring schedules in line with actual travel times and meet the needs of growing ridership throughout the greater Toronto and Hamilton area.
The agency will adjust train and bus service schedules, including the addition of new services, such as a new westbound Lakeshore East morning train from Oshawa.
In addition, an expanded service network, increased ridership and additional train capacity, including the implementation of 12-car trains, have impacted the published schedule versus actual travel time, according to GO Transit.
