Last week, GO Transit announced plans to expand service on the Georgetown line 30 miles to Kitchener-Waterloos, Guelph and Acton, Ontario, by 2011’s end.

The $18 million project calls for building a new storage facility in Kitchener and adding ticketing service at new stations in Guelph, Acton and Kitchener. GO Transit will provide two morning and two evening trains to the cities.
