TransLink plans to open its quarterly board meetings to the public starting this fall, the agency announced late last week.
The British Columbia transit agency also will make other information publicly available, including board reports, business plans and budgets, executive and employee salaries, and operational performance reports.
"This is the next step in improving transparency for our customers and stakeholders," said TransLink Vice Chairman Barry Forbes in a statement. "We welcome public scrutiny and we expect the public to hold us to account."
