As part of a reconstruction project, the agency is building two new elevators at the station and enhancing lighting.

STM expects to kick off the $20 million project (in Canadian dollars) in January 2018 and complete it by April 2020, agency officials said in a press release.

Built in 1966, the station serves 5 million people each year.
