SunRail on June 16 will host an open house at the new Tupperware Station along its 17-mile southern extension.

Service on the extension is slated to start this summer. The new station is in Kissimmee, Florida.

Last month, the railroad provided a train tour and open house at the Poinciana Station, which is another stop on the southern extension. That event attracted about 2,500 residents, SunRail officials said in a press release.

SunRail later this month will host open houses at another Kissimmee station and a stop in Meadow Woods. The four-station southern extension will link Orange County, Florida, to Osceola County.
