Brightline's plan to locate a rail station at Walt Disney World's Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida, appear to be canceled, Orlando news organizations reported Tuesday.

The high-speed rail company changed its original plan to locate a train station at Disney Springs to one nearby but not on Disney property.

The Orlando Business Journal reported that Disney spokesperson Avery Maehrer released a statement saying the "new route configuration does not support a Disney Springs station, and, as a result, we don't anticipate being part of this project."

In fall 2020, Brightline announced an agreement with Disney World to build a station at Disney Springs.
