On Saturday, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) will hold a community workshop to gather public comments on the Fort Totten Metrorail Station Area Access and Assessment of Potential Joint Development Plan. The authority is seeking input on joint development opportunities and ways to improve the station area.
The joint development plan will be used to help city, community and WMATA officials determine how to better connect new housing, shopping and employment centers with transportation services near the Fort Totten station.
