GO Transit and Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1587 recently reached a tentative labor agreement. Details were not released.

The agreement still must be ratified by the GO Transit board and ATU members, a process that’s expected to take about four weeks.

The union represents about 1,170 of GO Transit’s 1,460 employees, including station attendants, bus drivers, transit enforcement officers, maintenance personnel, and office, professional and technical staff.
