AMT seeks firm for operation, maintenance of commuter trains

The Agence metropolitaine de transport (AMT) in Montreal has launched an international call for tenders process to award a contract for the operation of its commuter trains and the maintenance of its commuter-rail rolling stock.

Other related services will be included in the contract, including the maintenance of support equipment and the cleaning maintenance of its rolling stock, AMT officials said in a press release.

The AMT plans to award the contract in the fall of 2016 to give the selected supplier an adequate mobilization period before it begins its service offering.
