APTA launches 'video wall' to stress need for surface transportation bill

Yesterday, the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) launched an online "national video testimonial wall" to encourage people to share their stories about how public transportation impacts their lives.
Focusing on the economic, environmental, energy and quality-of-life benefits of public transit, the wall is designed to show Congress the need for a multi-year surface transportation bill, APTA officials said in a prepared statement.
“Collectively, these voices on our video wall show Congress the need to act now and pass a long-term surface transportation bill that increases investment in public transportation,” said APTA President William Millar.
APTA plans to share the videos with members of Congress and their staffs.
