Later this spring, Gray Line of Alaska will begin offering daily rail tours between Anchorage and Fairbanks under the "Alaska Rail Tours" banner.

From May 15 to Sept. 21, Alaska Railroad Corp. engines will pull Alaska Rail Tours’ 1950s-era passenger cars from Anchorage to Talkeetna, Talkeetna to Denali National Park and Denali National Park to Fairbanks. Built by the Budd Co., the restored cars feature stainless-steel domes and the capacity to carry up to 66 passengers.

Alaska Rail Tours also offers two multiple-day tours that include the narrow-gauge White Pass and Yukon Railroad along the Gold Rush trail.
