Amtrak awards environmental services contract

Amtrak recently awarded AMEC Earth & Environmental a $2.5 million, three-year contract to provide environmental services.
Work covered includes federal and state environmental permitting, soil and groundwater investigations, wetlands assessments and mitigation, environmental compliance audits, waste remediation design and oversight, due diligence property reviews, design and evaluation of industrial pollution control systems, and assessment of human health and ecological risks.
