Amtrak expands Milwaukee-Chicago service
advertisement
Beginning Oct. 27, Amtrak plans to add another round trip to its Hiawatha Service, which operates between Chicago and Milwaukee.
Under a new schedule, the first train will leave Chicago Union Station at 6 a.m. The last will leave Milwaukee at 7:30 p.m. All other departures on Amtrak’s existing Hiawatha schedule will remain unchanged.
The new schedule enables Amtrak to position equipment more efficiently so it can use two train sets for the service rather than three.
