Austin Metro tabs Watson as CEO

Yesterday, Austin’s Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced its board will begin negotiations with Linda Watson to assume the position of president and chief executive officer.

Currently, Watson is CEO of LYNX, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority in Orlando. She has more than 25 years of transportation experience.

In January, the board had contracted Gilbert Tweed Associates to conduct a nationwide search for a new top executive.
