advertisement
Bay Area Rapid Transit’s (BART) board recently named Pete Snyder president, succeeding Joel Keller.
Snyder, who had been the board’s vice president during the past year, has been a BART board member since 1996. He also serves on the Capitol Corridors Joint Powers Authority Board, and this past year chaired the district’s liaison committees with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and AC Transit.
The board selected James Fang to succeed Snyder as vice president. A BART board member since 1990, Fang served as vice president in 1997 and president in 1998. He is president of Asian Week, an Asian-American newspaper.
