Brightline recognized as a 'most innovative' company

Brightline, soon to be Virgin Trains USA, has been named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2020.

The list honors businesses making a profound impact on both industry and culture, Brightline officials said in a press release.

Fast Company's list features 434 businesses from 39 countries. The magazine's editors and writers sought out the businesses across myriad industries, as well as judged nominations received through an application process.

“These companies are applying creativity to solve challenges within their industries and far beyond,” said Fast Company Senior Editor Amy Farley.

Brightline operates between Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Florida, and plans to expand to Orlando, Boca Raton, Aventura and PortMiami this year. The company also is on track to break ground this year on a rail line that will operate between Las Vegas and Southern California.
