CTA, Chicago DOT complete 35th Street renovations

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) recently unveiled a remodeled station and rehabilitated bridge at 35th Street.
CTA and CDOT upgraded the station and infrastructure simultaneously, saving the authorities time and money, according to a prepared statement.
The renovated station includes a new ceiling, lighting, granite tile flooring, windows, downspout, column covers and customer information kiosk.
The bridge includes canopies along the street to protect pedestrians and CTA passengers.
