CTA completes 'Train Tracker' screen installation
All Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) rail stations have had "Train Tracker" electronic screens installed ahead of schedule, CTA officials announced yesterday.
Last week, CTA installed the screens at the Madison/Wabash Loop elevated station, completing an installation program that was scheduled to be completed by Labor Day.
The new display screens are the latest generation of CTA digital signs, showing estimated arrival times from CTA Train Tracker, as well as time and temperature, agency officials said in a press release.
With the recent installation, the rail system now features 475 display screens offering CTA Train Tracker information.
