The California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) board recently approved a contract for Lim & Nascimento Engineering, which will serve as program management oversight contractor.
The firm will oversee the work of program manager Parsons Brinckerhoff, such as project schedules, budgets, and conformance with approved work and staffing plans.
Meanwhile, the board also welcomed two new members: Richard Katz, a private economic consultant based in Los Angles; and Russ Burns, business manager of Operating Engineers Local 3.
In addition, David Crane, a special advisor to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and member of the California Economic Development Commission, was reappointed to the board.
