The North County Transit District (NCTD) in San Diego County, California, on Friday will unveil its new bilevel cab cars and coaches as part of a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Coaster passenger-rail service.

Coaster service began Feb. 27, 1995,  with six morning trains and six evening trains. Today, more than 190 trains operate each week along the coastal corridor, said NCTD officials in a press release.

The public is invited to join local government officials and NCTD officials at the unveiling and tour event of the new coaches and cab cars at the Oceanside Transit Center.
