The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers board, which oversees Caltrain commuter-rail service, recently elected Jim Hartnett chairman and Don Gage, vice chairman.
A Redwood City councilman, Hartnett represents San Mateo County on the board. Gage is a Santa Clara County supervisor and also serves on the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority board.
The nine-member joint powers board includes representatives from each of the three counties served by Caltrain.
