For the second year in a row, Caltrain has posted record ridership and revenue.
For the fiscal year ended June 30, the agency carried 10.98 million riders, up 8.2 percent compared with FY2006’s 10.15 million passengers. Ridership has increased more than 35 percent since 2004, when Caltrain launched its Baby Bullet express service.
In addition, FY2007 ticket and pass sales totaled $34.9 million, a 14.8 percent increase compared with FY2006.
