Caltrain to add weekday evening trains

On March 3, Caltrain will expand daily service to 98 trains by adding two evening local trains to its weekday schedule.
The additional trains will fill a gap in evening service. Trains will depart San Jose and San Francisco every hour between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The additional trains won’t increase the operating budget because the agency gained efficiencies by opening a new maintenance facility in San Jose last year, Caltrain said.
