Caltrain to upgrade San Mateo station
advertisement
In April, Caltrain plans to begin renovating the Hillsdale Station in San Mateo, Calif.
The $4.2 million project includes removing the center platform and building a new, longer platform on the station’s east side. The facility also will include improved amenities, pedestrian crossings and additional parking.
After the station opens later this year, Caltrain will close the nearby Bay Meadows Station, which primarily is used during horse-racing season.
