The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) on Friday will begin its seasonal weekend rail service on the CapeFLYER

The CapeFLYER passenger-rail service runs from Boston to Cape Cod every summer. This year's season-run will end Sept. 2.

Last month, crews began replacement work on sections of the railroad bridge over the Cohasset Narrows on the Cape Main Line, which is used by the CapeFLYER. CCRTA Director Thomas Cahir told The Bourne Enterprise the bridge work would not affect the train, as it was on schedule to be completed earlier this month and made passable for the trains.
