The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA) board recently named Forrest Williams chairman and Mary Ann Courville, vice chairman. Both will serve two-year terms.
A member of the San Jose City Council since 2000, Williams currently chairs the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority. Mayor of Dixon, Calif., since 2000, Courville currently serves on the Solano Transportation Authority board.
CCJPA’s board comprises 16 members from six northern California transportation agencies. The authority manages commuter-rail service along a 170-mile corridor between San Jose and Sacramento in partnership with Amtrak.
