Public transit users in the Chicago region are generally satisfied with the service they receive from Metra and the Chicago Transit Authority, according to a customer satisfaction survey recently commissioned by the Regional Transportation Authority.
Overall, 91 percent of respondents said they would recommend the agency’s transit services to others and 83 percent indicated they are satisfied with service. Respondents cited on-time performance, total travel time, safety, cleanliness and transit personnel courtesy are the service attributes that matter most to them.
Conducted by Resource Systems Group, the survey was administered onboard trains and buses, as well as via email. Nearly 33,000 people participated.
