Cleveland RTA awards track rehab contract

Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority June 18 awarded Delta Railroad Construction Inc. a $6.6 million contract to rehabilitate 2.56 track miles between Tower City and E. 55th Street, an area known as "Joint Territory" because it’s an area where light-rail and heavy-rail vehicles share tracks.
Federal funds will cover 80 percent of the project’s cost.
