Toronto’s GO Transit recently named Michael Cyr director of rail services.
He has 30 years’ experience in various private-sector senior management positions. Cyr spent the past 15 years at FedEx, where he was responsible for a ground package system for Canadian operations, including equipment allocation, planning and network expansion.
“Michael’s past operational experience and business acumen will allow him to meet the challenges and objectives faced by rail services,” said GO Transit Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Gary McNeil in an email to employees.
