DART, TRE post more ridership gains in November

November was another good month for Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) and Trinity Railway Express' (TRE) ridership.

Average weekday ridership on DART's light-rail system totaled 70,690, up 13.9 percent compared with November 2007's total. Monthly light-rail ridership rose 2.3 percent to 1.6 million.

TRE's November passenger count reached 214,325, up 5 percent, while average weekday ridership totaled 10,567, up 12.8 percent.
