DART inks general engineering deal with ACT 21 Team

Dallas Area Rapid Transit awarded a five-year, $180 million general engineering consultant services contract to the ACT 21 Team, which comprises Carter & Burgess Inc., STV Inc., KAI/Alliance L.L.C., and a Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. subsidiary, Jacobs announced June 4.
As part of the ACT 21 Team, Jacobs’s services will include design management, track work and other common element design services, real estate acquisition, corridor design management, line section design, and construction management services for the 47-mile light rail expansion in the Southwest, Northwest and Dallas-Fort Worth corridors, as well as the Rowlett extension of the Northeast Corridor.
