DART solicits public opinions on proposed route changes

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is looking for the public’s input on proposed route and service changes that will occur in July and December as a result of the opening of the DART Rail Orange Line to Irving, Texas, and Blue and Orange line extensions.

The agency will hold a public hearing and meetings in January to accept comments, and also will encourage rider feedback through a Jan. 17 “Tweet chat” on Twitter, DART officials said in a prepared statement.

DART’s Orange Line to Irving, Texas, is scheduled to open in July. The nearly five-mile DART Rail Blue Line extension to Rowlett, Texas, is scheduled to open in December, as is an Orange Line extension.
