DART to launch construction on Blue Line extension

Tomorrow, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will break ground on the 4.5-mile Blue Line extension from downtown Garland to Rowlett, Texas.
Scheduled to be complete in December 2012, the $188 million project includes one new station in Rowlett. Funding for the project is included in DART's 20-year financial plan.
