The Regional Transportation District of Denver’s (RTD) board has begun a nationwide search for a permanent general manager and chief executive officer.

The board is looking for applicants who are passionate, forward-thinking leaders with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a complex environment collaboratively, RTD officials said in a press release.

The board also seeks an applicant with a proven record of working closely with the community and advocating for its needs as they relate to mobility and regional development.

Interested applicants can visit this recruitment page on the RTD website to learn more about the process and desired qualifications.

All applications will be accepted and processed by executive search firm Krauthamer & Associates through July 10. A new GM and CEO will be announced this fall.

The RTD is currently led by Interim GM and CEO Paul Ballard. Ballard assumed the role in February after Dave Genova retired in January.
