The Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver's board will consider putting a FasTracks sales tax question on the 2010 election ballot.

The question would ask voters if the RTD sales tax should be raised an additional four-tenths of a percent to complete the FasTracks expansion program by 2017.

The FasTracks program calls for building 122 miles of commuter- and light-rail lines, constructing 18 miles of bus rapid-transit, redeveloping Denver’s Union Station and adding 21,000 new parking spaces.
