Denver RTD fills several management positions

Yesterday, the Regional Transportation District of Denver (RTD) announced several new additions to its management team.

Carla Perez was named assistant general manager of administration. She will lead the human resources, information technology, materials management and civil rights divisions. Previously, Perez served as the Colorado Department of Transportation’s policy director.  

RTD also named Richard Clarke assistant general manager of capital programs. He will head and direct all RTD capital projects and programs, including the FasTracks program. Clarke has more than 25 years of experience in the public transportation and rail industries.

In addition, the ageny named Delbreath Walker deputy assistant general manager of capital programs and William Van Meter, assistant general manager of planning. Van Meter has more than 20 years of planning experience and has been involved in several RTD projects, including the full funding grant process for the West Corridor.

RTD also plans to name an assistant general manager of rail operations within the next month.
