Denver RTD taps TranSystems to redevelop Union Station

Denver’s Regional Transportation District April 4 selected TranSystems Corp. to develop a master plan and provide preliminary engineering to redevelop Denver Union Station as a key transportation hub providing seamless connections between commuter rail, light rail, bus rapid transit and future fixed-guideway systems.
Development plans for the station would include offices, housing, retail shops, hotels and parking. TranSystems recently completed a similar project redeveloping Union Station in Kansas City, Mo.
