Dutch agency takes delivery of ALSTOM trams

RET, the transportation authority in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has taken delivery of the first of 60 CITADIS tramcars ordered from ALSTOM Transport.
CITADIS trams feature low floors, quiet operation and large windows.
RET plans to use the cars on three new Tram-Plus lines, serving suburban areas not currently served by the subway system.
